Funeral service for Donald Joe Ferguson, 64, will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. J. Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Ferguson died on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born February 9, 1954, in Morgan County to James Robert Ferguson and Bertha Mae Brewer Ferguson. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Retired from his Registered Nursing career at North Alabama Regional Hospital, he had started working with Red-X- Fitness in Decatur. He loved sports and was an Avid Alabama Fan, loved hunting and riding motorcycles. He loved keeping his yard very neat. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David Ferguson.

Five Grandchildren:
Zane, Dean, Kate, Carter and Maddox
Pallbearers will be Shannon Ferguson, Ben Andrews, Daryl Bolding, Taylor Graham, Mac Graham, and Tyler Ferguson.
