Mr. Donald Hassell, age 61, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Friday evening, June 1, 2018 at his residence.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 2-4PM with a memorial service beginning at 4PM with Jayne Hornburger officiating at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Better known as Motor Mouse, Donald was born on December 24, 1956 in Williamson County and was the son of Nora Veach Hassell Hartley and the late John Harvey Hassell. He was a music lover who enjoyed playing the guitar. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Donald loved his Ford truck that he named “Old Blue.” He especially loved his three great nieces.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters: Deborah (Ray) Smithson of Spring Hill, Mary Martin (fiancé, Jackie Glenn) of Spring Hill; nephews: Harvey (Andrea) Smithson of Spring Hill, Travis (Chantelle) Poteete of Antioch; and three great nieces: Lylah Smithson, Saylor Poteete, and Journey Hicks.
