Donald H. Yeager – Obituary

Donald H. Yeager, 81, of Huntsville passed away Saturday after a sudden illness. Donald graduated from Ensley High School in Birmingham and then Auburn University in 1959 with a mechanical engineering degree. He retired from Teledyne Brown in 1994. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, Braves baseball, and Auburn football. Donald was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church of Huntsville, AL. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Ingram Yeager in 2010.
Survivors include his son, Monty Yeager and wife Ramona, of Florence; daughter, Donna White and husband, Joe, of Athens; grandchildren, Kristin W. Colvert and husband, Michael, Blake White, all of Madison, John-David White, and Caroline White, both of Athens; great-grandchildren, Brayden White of Anniston and Lawson Colvert of Madison; sister, Martha Mart and husband, Bob, of Fort Worth, TX; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11am Wednesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.at Laughlin Service Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, AL.
