Mr. Donald Eugene Dillingham was born Sunday December 20th 1931, to the late John and Mary Elbie “Coleman” Dillingham in Corinth, MS. Mr. Dillingham died November 11th 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Mr. Dillingham was graced in marriage to the late Imogene “Null” Dillingham where he fathered two children; Mr. Timothy Dillingham and Mrs. Donna Gray. He was honored to serve in the U.S Army during the Korean War. Mr. Dillingham was a long time employee at ITT which later became Cortelco in Corinth, MS. He was a proud member of Oakland Baptist Church where he attended faithfully until his health declined.
Mr. Dillingham was preceded in death by his wife Imogene, his son, Tim, both his parents, and two brothers; Mr. Jimmy Dillingham and Mr. John Dillingham. Those left to honor his memory include: his daughter, Mrs. Donna Gray (Buzz), daughter-in-law, Marcia Dillingham; Two grand-children; Bobby (Trish) Dillingham and Andrew Dillingham, three great-grandchildren; Alex Dunner, Aubree Dillingham and Ansley Dillingham. Mr. Dillingham was also survived by five brothers-in-law; Mr. Hershel Null, Mr. Harold Null, Mr. Jerry (Millie) Null, Mr. Jimmy (Daphnee) Null, and Null Tyson. Two sisters-in law Ms. Billie Sue Dillingham and Edna Faye Dillingham.
Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family left behind Mr. Dillingham leaves behind his best friends and special caregivers; Maureen Elliott, Russian Clark, Pam Taylor, and Scotty Carter. The love and care they showed allowed him to remain in his home which was his only wish.
A Celebration of Life Service in his honor will be held at McPeters Funeral Directors on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00pm with Bro. Brad Dillingham and Bro. Randy Bostic officiating. Family will accept friends beginning at 11am in the morning. Burial will follow at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.
