Donald Eaton Myers passed away May 28, 2019 in Huntsville, AL. He was born September 20, 1925 in Nescopeck, PA, to Clyde and Louise (Agard) Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Walker), two brothers, Kenneth and Seely and sister, Lois (Becker).
Don is survived by his brother John in FL, sister Eleanor (Decker) in CT; his four children, Richard (Valerie) of Huntsville, AL, Susan Blackwood (Sam Kemp) of Waco, TX, William (Lynn) of Boston, NY, Robert (Robin) of Sacramento, CA; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
After his military service November 1943 to April 1946, he attended Cornell University for an agricultural degree. His older brother, Ken and himself ran the family farm and then moved on to Ferry Morse Seed Company in sales. He retired from the company as V.P. in Marketing in Modesto, CA.
Don enjoyed reading, walking, TV sports and playing bridge anywhere he was visiting with his family.
His ashes will be laid to rest in Elmira, NY, at a later date for a family gathering. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
