Donald “DJ” Jackson age 72 of Brilliant, AL passed away in Belgreen, AL.
Born July 10, 1952 in Brilliant, AL he is the Son of the late F.L. and Elouise Cagle Jackson. Donald was the baby of 4 children. He had lived in Brilliant most of his life and attended Brilliant Schools. He had worked for Deer Valley Manufacturing and enjoyed fishing and working outdoors.
He is survived by a Daughter, Amy Vandiver (Trent) of Belgreen, AL, 4 Grandchildren, Hagen Price, Madelyn Price, Lauren Beasley (Preston), and Brodie Vandiver (Zoey), 2 Great Grandchildren, Grayson Beasley, and Jayden Duncan, A Sister, Joyce Dooley (Bobby), and A Brother, Waymon Jackson of Albertville, AL.
He was also preceded in death by a Son, John Jackson and a Sister, Faye Sims.
The family extends a special thank you to Northwest Home Health and Hospice of North Alabama.
Services held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 4:00 PM from the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel – Guin with burial in the Center Cemetery. Bro. Shannon Knight officiating.
