Donald Dean Davis, age 80, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 2, 1943, in Beachgrove, Indiana, to the late Donald and Wynema Wallice Davis. He was a Communications Technician with Frontier Telephone Company in Nevada prior to retirement. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Kittyhawk and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. Donald enjoyed studying military history, hunting, fishing, and knife forging.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Karen Velva Davis.
He is survived by one son, Donald Dwayne (Candi) Davis of Spokane, Washington; daughter, Shaylene (Michael) King of Lewisburg, Tennessee and Danine (Matt) Thurman of Sparks, Nevada; six grandchildren, Deaven Davis, Ethan King, Jordan Allingham, Ryan, Justin, and Sean Frankovich; three step grandchildren, Kory and Brandon Roberts and Rayce Thurman; great grandchildren, Aurora Allingham and Ronin Allingham and great stepson Karson M. Roberts.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 11:00 am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221, with burial to follow.
