Donald Carey Beddingfield, 72, a faithful man of God devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren, passed away March 5, 2015. He was born in Scottsboro, AL. Mr. Beddingfield was preceded in death by his parents, Carey and Goldyn Beddingfield. During his life, he worked for SCI Systems for 23 years, co-founded ESI, JIT and Rastek Corporations. Mr. Beddingfield was a longtime member of Oak Park Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sara; children: Lori (Steve) Harvison, Mark (Susan) Beddingfield, and Blake (Julie) Beddingfield; grandchildren: Jordan (Danielle) Lowery, Logan Lowery, Shelby, Riley, Katy and Elizabeth Beddingfield, Anna Grace and Brock Beddingfield; and sister, Delilah Rogers.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Alan Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
