Donald Bennett Massey, 72 of Taft, Tennessee died on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Lincoln Skill Care Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Born Monday, August 11, 1941 in Taft, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Massey and Zana Berryhill Massey. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Fayetteville, TN. He was a dedicated father and grandfather and loved people. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Frances Faye Hendrix Massey.
Surviving are son, Joel (Teresa) Massey of Taft, TN, his mother: Zana Massey of Taft, TN, abrother, Dennis (Marsha) Massey of Park City, TN and two grandchildren: Brian Massey and Nathan (Amber) Massey.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home located, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Bobby Bates officiating. Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
