On June 5, 2024, the community of Waynesboro, TN bid farewell to a beloved member as Don Frank Gallaher peacefully passed away at the age of 74. Born to the late Joe and Laura Gallaher, Don was esteemed for his diligent work ethic and diverse skills, finding joy in activities such as fishing, hunting, and kayaking his leisure time.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Frank Jerome Gallaher (Crystal) and Joshua Gallaher; brother Lester Gallaher; sisters Carolyn Hampton and Helen Gibson; grandchildren Haley Nicole Gallaher, Mason Don Gallaher, Zane Thomas Gallaher; Former Wife, Sheila Anderson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Don is preceded in death by his brothers Gilbert and J.C. Gallaher, and sisters Anna Lou Clayton, Edna Staggs, and Grace Hollis.
A visitation to honor Don’s life will take place on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with Brother Danny Clark officiating. Don will be laid to rest in Gallaher Cemetery with the assistance of Shackelford Funeral Directors.
