Rev. Don David White, passed away at home with his family by his side on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born to Grady and Sylvia White on May 22, 1946, in the Old Sardis community. After moving a few times, they settled in Ider. He graduated from Ider High School in 1966 playing football and basketball. Operating heavy equipment for many years with his Dad and brothers brought a dedicated work ethic carried on throughout his future jobs as a Milk Man, owning Don White’s Appliance store, and retiring as a Journeyman Electrician in 2005. He was ordained as a Baptist minister in October of 1982. Pastoring churches in the Stevenson/Fackler area for several years led to lifelong friendships.
