Dolores Mires West Hanna, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Paul Hanna.
Born on May 18, 1933, to Royce and Mary Mires, Dolores grew up on their family farm outside of Adams, Oklahoma as the oldest of four sisters. After graduating from Adams High School, Dolores went on to study Home Economics at both Oklahoma Christian and Oklahoma State University.
Dolores dedicated her life to the roles of a wife, mother and homemaker. She was married to her first husband, Jerry Glenn West, for 38 years before his passing in 1993. Together, they are survived by their three children, Stanley (Denise) West, Linda (Mike) Reaman and Glenna (Dwayne) Fulks, as well as eleven grandchildren, Penn, Deborah, Mattie, Erin, Andrew, Brandon, Leah, Matthieu, Jon, Shelly and James, and ten great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held in Columbia, Tennessee on January 13. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor be made to Health Talents International or the Alzheimer’s Association. Dolores’s legacy is one of love and commitment to family, and her memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
