Dolores Greenhaw Baker, 93 of the Mt. Tabor Community passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born September 29, 1930 the daughter of Robert Albert “Buddy” Greenhaw and Jewel Celine Couch Greenhaw. She was married to Wayne Basil Baker who passed away December 22, 2015. She was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed gardening. She loved her family, especially the grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by her fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Mary Baker; son-in-law: Jim McCraken; sister: Sarah Alice Miller; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded by her husband: Wayne Baker; children: Stephen Baker, Mary Ann Baker, Donna McCraken and Bobby Baker; siblings: Oscar Greenhaw, Joe Greenhaw and Bill Greenhaw.
Funeral Service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Brother Kenneth Smith officiating. The burial will be in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church.
Her grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
