Dolores G. “Dee” Grammer, age 91 of Winchester, passed away on January 19, 2024, at Elk River Nursing Home. She was born in Frankfort, Illinois on March 17, 1932, to the late Harry C. and Dora Gladys Rehberg. Before her retirement, she was an interior designer in Southern Illinois, where she owned and operated her own design shop. She was an excellent seamstress and a talented musician, especially on the piano. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Moore and Gilbert Moore; husbands, Jack Swearengin, Bill Guess, and James “Pat” Grammer; and daughter, Ginger Lyons. Dee is survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Strope of Belvidere; step-daughters, Patricia (Billy) Walker, and Cynthia Burrus; nephew, Carl Banks; and many other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
