Dolores Faye Sims, 82, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Limestone County, Alabama on December 20th, 1941, to Roy and Mable (Allfrey) Young.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughter Jolayne Hathcote (Robert); son Barron Sims (Carla); grandchildren Terrell Hathcote (Lauren) and Christopher Hathcote; great-grandchild Reagan Hathcote; sister Vicki Dean; and nieces Char Lynn Dean and Tara Biggs.
She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mable Young, and a brother.
As the family is honoring their late mother’s wishes, there will be no services.
