A visitation for Dolores Ann Spurlin Jennings will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Peck Funeral Home from 11:00 to 1:00 PM with the funeral service following at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will be at Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Brother Ralph Henderson will be officiating. Peck Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Ms. Jennings of Lacey’s Spring passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 83. She was born in Marshall County, Alabama on January 30, 1940 to Amon A. and Alice Edwards Spurlin. She worked at Parker Hanifan as a plant worker for 30 plus years prior to retiring. Dolores was a very hard worker physically, mentally and spiritually. She went above and beyond for her children and others. She enjoyed reading, doing sodoku and crossword puzzles. She loved to laugh and was devoted, dedicated and loyal to her family. She was dearly loved and will be terribly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tanya Alexander and multiple siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Bentley (Jeff)
