Dionne Griffin Hall, age 87 of Fort Payne, passed away on February 28, 2025 at her residence. She was born on December 28, 1937 in Chipley, FL to the late Thomas & Margaret Griffin. She retired as a Title Clerk in Auto Sales and was a substitute teacher for several years in the Fort Payne School System. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Payne.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Griff & Teresa Hall and Eugene & Katrina Hall; grandchildren, Griff Hall II (Shauna), Levee Hall (Kaitee), Yale Hall, Tristan Hall, Casey Hall (Kailey), Chad Carroll, and Eric Harrison; great-grandchildren, Alannis Hall, Madison Hall, Leah Hall, Jack Hall, Liam Hall, and Colten Philips; and great-great-grandchildren, Kane Oden and Oslo Tate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Hall; parents; brothers, Floyd Griffin, Leroy Griffin, T.L. Griffin, Kenneth Griffin, Fred Griffin, Danny Griffin, and Nolan Griffin; and sisters, Dodrie Jenkins, Martha Carnazza and Ann Rice.
