A memorial service will be held for Dina Abernathy, 58, of Oxford, AL, at First Baptist White Plains on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Family will receive visitors from 5-6 PM with the service to follow. The Rev. Eric Snider will be officiating.
On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Dina Abernathy passed away at Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Wilkinson, her mother, Nellie Wilkinson, and her nephew, Michael Snider.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Abernathy; children, Kristin Moore (Jarid), Collin Abernathy (Ashley); grandchildren, Harper Moore, Emerson Moore, Reagan Moore, and baby boy Abernathy due in July; and sister, Deborah Snider (Dennis).
Dina was a member of First Baptist Church White Plains. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, singing in the choir, and going to the beach. She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit.
