Dianna Mae Gatlin White

Dianna Mae Gatlin White, known as Dona to her family and friends, passed away Christmas Eve at the age of 84 at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 23, 1940 to Thomas and Lena Wright Gatlin.  Youngest of eight children. She married Leighton White and they spent over 50 years together, dancing and laughing. Mrs. White retired from Limestone County School System, where she worked in the school cafeteria at West Limestone High School. She loved her family, gardening, dancing, pictures and all her friends.
There will be a 2pm Graveside Service Monday at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson with Mark Johnson officiating.
Visitation is Monday 11am until 1pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Pallbearers will be Allen Todd, Jeffery White, Michael Murphy, Jamie Kelly, Blaze Murphy, Thatcher Kelly, Lawson White and Kody White.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by parents, husband Leighton White, three brothers, Osborn, Hollis, Jack Gatlin, four sisters, Lerline Zeidel, Melvalene White, Betty Cates and Gelena Perrin.
She is survived by three children, Donna Todd (Allen), Steve White (Karen) all of Anderson, Stacy White (Maria) of Purvis Mississippi, three grandchildren, Jeffrey White (Erin), Jennifer Todd-Kelly (Jamie) and Kari Murphy (Michael), five great grandchildren, Asen Blaze Murphy, Lawson White, Thatcher Kelly, Kody White, Laurel Kelly, all of whom she adored. Several special nieces and nephews.
