Diane Ray Duffer, age 75, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home. No services are planned at this time.
Mrs. Duffer was born December 6, 1945 in Nashville, TN to the late Fred and Lois Cantrell Ray. She worked in the Quality Control Department at Electrolux and loved shopping. She especially loved her family and talking on the telephone with them.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Duffer is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mammie Campbell and her brothers, Ronnie Ray and Mike Ray.
Mrs. Duffer is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wallace “Glenn” Duffer; sons, Timothy Glenn Duffer and Steven Randall (Rachael) Duffer, both of Springfield; daughter, Tammy Diane Swift of Ridgetop; brothers, Martin (Shirley) Ray of Madison and James “Bubba” Ray of AL; grandchildren, Melanie (Jason) Manuel, Brittany (Brandon) Stokes, Quenton (Breona) Creek, Christopher Creek, Dalton Swift and Carmen Duffer; and great-grandchildren, Coryanna Stokes, McKinney Stokes, Sophia Creek, Sofia Olive, Abel Creek and Lucas Creek. Mrs. Duffer will also be survived by twin great-granddaughters due to arrive in May of this year.
