Diane Kuchan Little, age 68 of Franklin, TN passed away January 24, 2024 after a long illness. Preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Shirley Winter. Survived by: husband, Russell S. Little; children, Daniel Walker (Meghan) Kuchan, Abigail Winter (Scott) Bell and Spencer Anthony (Callie) Kuchan; stepson, Joshua W. (Kelly) Little; grandchildren, James and Jeremy Kuchan, Riley and Sophia Bell, Paul, Ben, John, and Syndol Little, Owen Sprengel, and Diane’s brother, Kenneth Winter.
Before her illness, Diane was an avid tennis player. She was intimately involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Many years were spent as a Boy Scout leader going on many backpacking adventures and canoe trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness in Minnesota. The neighbors knew her as the lady who walked the white dogs while reading a book. Diane loved studying the Bible and assisted in the local ministry at the jail. She made two mission trips to Guatemala to help build classrooms and teach about Jesus to the children in that community.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday February 2nd, 2024 at Historic Franklin First United Methodist Church, 148 Fifth Avenue South, Reverends Bryan Brooks and Vona Wilson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service and Thursday from 4-6 PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Guatemala Mission c/o Franklin First United Methodist Church.
