Diana Shewbart Marcello, 72, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her residence. She was a dedicated special education teacher at Red Bay and at Atlantis Academy in Miami, FL and was a member of Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 3 p.m. at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Marcello (Stephanie) and Justin Marcello; daughter, Heather Marcello; grandchildren, Anna Marcello, Layla Marcello and Jason Marcello, Jr.; sister, Renee Harris and special niece, Brittany Day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter L. Shewbart, Jr. and Mavis Lorriane Coker Shewbart; sister, Martha Holt and brother, Jerry Shewbart.
Pallbearers will be Donald Gober, Danny Shewbart, Carl Lewey, Dale Hester, Richard Townsend and Gary Williams.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 1-3 p.m. at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
