Diana Mahoney, a vibrant and spirited soul known for her energetic personality and love for travel, has passed away at the age of 75. Born on September 24, 1949, Diana lit up the room with her lively conversations and infectious energy, always thriving in the company of friends and loved ones. She was a true go-getter, always seeking out new adventures and experiences, with a particular fondness for cruises and entertainment like the Grand Ole Opry. Those who knew Diana will remember her as a social butterfly who never met a stranger, effortlessly connecting with people from all walks of life. Her zest for life was truly unmatched, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Diana was preceded in death by her father Douglas D Blackall. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Mahoney; mother, Donna Scott; son, Daniel Mahoney; daughter, Darbra Mahoney; brothers, Darryl Blackall, Dennis Blackall and Don Blackall; half-brothers, Jeff Blackall, Doug Blackall, and Greg Blackall; grandsons, Trevor Carrier, Hunter Mahoney, and Dennis Carrier; and great grandson, Orson Carrier. Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton with entombment at Sunset Park. Pallbearers will be Trevor Carrier, Dennis Carrier, Hunter Mahoney, Avery Blackall, Scott Blackall and Greg Blackall. Stand by pallbearer will be Daniel Mahoney.
