Dexter Ray Fletcher Dexter Ray Fletcher, 68, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024 at his home.

Dexter was born on August 4, 1956 to the late Ethel Leen Thomas Fletcher.

He spent the majority of his life in Harvest, Alabama, where he was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Dexter could always be found piddling, fishing, or watching Alabama football. He enjoyed getting out and driving. He was also self-taught on the piano and guitar and enjoyed playing them both.

Dexter was preceded in death by his mother, as well as two grandbabies, Sam and Riley Marconnet.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jenni Fletcher, one stepson, Addison Fine, four daughters; Jessica (Tommy) Bates, Beth (David) Marconnet, Alicia (Jerron) Bigbee, Peyton (T.C.) Gladden, one brother, James “Buster” (Edna) Fletcher, five sisters; Marie (Bob) Lee, Barbara (Milton) Martin, Nancy (Larry) Pritchard, Cynthia (Mike) Knox, Wanda “Faye” (Jimmy) Floyd, sixteen grandchildren; Jordan Bates, Gina Grace Bates, Chloe Bates, Gabriel Bates, Jackson Marconnet, Blake Marconnet, Kate Marconnet, Olivia Marconnet, Eli Bigbee, Juliette Bigbee, Mason Bigbee, Enly Bigbee, Paisley Mizell-Gladden, Everley Gladden, Remington Gladden, and Grayson Fine.

A visitation for Dexter will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2024, beginning at 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled immediately after visitation to begin at 1:00 PM. Bro. Milton Martin will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.

Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
