Dexter G. Taylor, 93, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at The Meadows in Fulton . He was born January 21, 1920 to the late William P. Taylor and the late Savada “Maggie” Magnolia Gann Taylor. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for many years. He was a carpenter during his working years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being outdoors.

Bro. Howard Curbow and Bro. Bob O’Neal will be officiating.

He is survived by 2 Daughters – Lavelle (Troyce) Taylor of Golden, MS, Barbara (Robin) Thornton of Saltillo, MS; 4 Granddaughters – Cindy (Joel) Horn of Golden, MS, Sherri (Chris) Telaga of Huntsville, AL, Amy (Cory) Dewett of Guntown, MS, Sarah (Brad) Bates of Jonesboro, AR; 4 Great-granddaughters – Ashley Horn, Kelsey Horn, Maggie Telaga, Addison Dewett; 2 Great-grandsons – Garrett Telaga, Brayden Dewett; Brother – R.C. Taylor of Fulton; Sister – Christine Gentry of Fulton.

He was preceded in death by his Father, William P. Taylor, Mother, Savada “Maggie” Magnolia Taylor, Brother, Cleborn Taylor, Sister, Esta Parker, Sister, Melinda Hardin, Sister, Emma Dee Thomas.
