Dewey R. Trumble

Mr. Dewey R. Trumble, 84, of Bolivar, departed his earthly life on Tuesday, October 29th, at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.

He was born in Lockesburg, Arkansas, the son of the late George Edward and Azalea Pickens Trumble and had worked many years as a chemist in the petroleum industry for Champion Chemicals.  Although most of his working life was spent in Houston, Texas, he had traveled the world over and resided in Saudi Arabla on two different occasions.  Mr. Trumble moved to the Memphis area in 2014 following the death of his son, Steven.

He loved boating, riding motorcycles and listening to Indian flute music.  He was especially fond of his pet “min-pin” (miniature pinscher) dogs, “Cocoa” and “Majic”.  Mr. Trumble served his country proudly in the US Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Trumble of Harvard, MA; three grandchildren, Harley Trumble, Olivia Montigny and Lisette Montigny; and six brothers and sisters, Eddie (Billie Sue) Trumble of Atlanta, GA, Judy Howell of Bolivar, Roger Trumble of Munford, TN, George (Sherry) Trumble of Millington, TN, Libby Trumble of Pocahontas, TN and Cindy (Robert) Kane of Kennett Square, PA.

Private memorial services will be held at a future date.
