A service for Mr. Dewey Carlis Adams, 67, of Munford, Alabama will be on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Cornerstone Church located at 2885 Choccolocco Road, Anniston AL 36207, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM with service to follow at 12:30 PM. Pastor Chad Pesnell will be officiating.
Mr. Dewey Carlis Adams passed away on Sunday, December 24th, 2023.
He was born in Anniston, Alabama on October 4, 1956 to Carlis J. and Virginia Turner Adams.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Debbie Adams; sister, Gail Rogers; sister, Cathy Beckman (Gary); son, Jeremy Adams (Stephanie); step-daughter, Bethany Riggs (Joshua); step-daughter, Crystal Bolding (Randy); step-daughter, Jamie Smith (Aaron); grandchildren, Sommer Adams, Brody Adams, Anna Leigh Adams, Jazzman Piper, Caleb Pelham, Kassie Riggs, Joshua Riggs, Stormie Parrish, Luke Bolding, and Ethan Bolding; and 1 great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carlis and Virginia Adams; and his stepson, Michael Thompson.
Dewey drove a rollback for many years before getting sick and having to retire. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on his boat and he loved motorcycles and Auburn football.
