Dewayne Sims, 57, passed away July 17, 2023 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 20th at 11 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery with Bill Barlow officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesse Sims, Dale Sims, Jeff Dillehay, Bobby Dean Craig, Weston Stewart and Jonathan Hicks.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his father, Billy Sims; step father, Gene Middlebrooks and his grandparents. He is survived by his son, Jesse Sims; mother, Dean Middlebrooks; brother, Dale Sims (Deborah); niece, Hanah Hicks (Jonathan); uncle, Charles Stewart; great aunt, Doris Anderson; cousins, Chuck Stewart (Maria), Barry Stewart (Sherry) and Weston Stewart (Magan).
