Devin Joe Vanhoozer, 24, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday.
Devin was a 2016 graduate of Hazel Green High School and was an HVAC technician with Conditioned Air Solutions. He was a kind and generous person and he loved riding his motorcycle, his truck, drag racing, and music. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and he especially loved his little sister, Macy.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Tom Pylant & Geneva “Granny” Pylant, Doris Harrington, Ruby Crabb, Floyd Pierce, Horace Robinson, and Mildred Nutt; His great-uncle, Terry Harrington. His cousins, Justin Wright and Bree Pierce.
Surviving family members include his dad, Bobby Joe Vanhoozer; His mom and bonus dad, Donna & Chris Barron; His siblings: Madison Barron, Alexis Vanhoozer, Grant Barron, Macy Barron, and Mac Barron; His grandparents: Vickie & Mike Funk, Randy Vanhoozer, Gladys Graves, Charles & Shelia Robinson, Mac & Janet Barron, and Kathy Billions; His uncles: Lee Vanhoozer, Charles Robinson, Keith Robinson, Ralph (Carrie) Braswell, Cody (Erica) Barron, Tommy (Lindsey) Barron, and Chase Barron; His aunts: Tammy Belk, Liz Braswell, Candy Wright, Megan (Jason) Lewter. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 3pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Dunnavant officiating. Burial will follow in Hastings Cemetery in Ardmore.
