Dessie Marie Boatwright age 86 of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, January 20, 2017.
Visitation will be Sunday, 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Monday, 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chad Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mrs. Boatwright was preceded in death by her parents; Hugh E and Parilee Michael; daughter-in-law, Starr Boatwright; granddaughter, Mandy Holt, sisters; Ada, Murlene, and Louise; brothers, Odell, Arley and Ellis.
She is survived by her son; Steve Boatwright (Patti), daughter, Wanda Alexander; grandchildren, Beth Scott (Mark), Chad Boatwright (Jill), Brian Alexander (Danielle), great-grandchildren; Whitney Balentine (Chris), Alex Scott, Rachel Scott, Dylan and Kaden Alexander, Kaelyn and Patrick Holt, and Klaudia Harris, great great-grandchildren; Cole and Callie Balentine, and Clyde Scott.
Pallbearers are David Michael, Billy Ray Fuller, Kenneth Wayne Fuller, Jimmy Michael, Charles Michael and Greyson Reesor.
