Dr. Desiree Lynn Lipscomb, 56, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2015. She was a longtime resident of Huntsville, AL where she graduated from Butler High School. She was an avid Auburn Tigers fan, having earned five degrees from Auburn University, including multiple Bachelors of Science, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pathology, a PhD and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She was a clinical pathologist at IDEXX Laboratories in Norcross, GA.
Desiree is survived by her mother, Bertie Lou Cryer Lipscomb, of Cumming, GA; and father, Charles Robert “Bob” Lipscomb, of Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dana Charles Lipscomb.
At her request, a private remembrance will be held at a later date.
