Depot Days Festival Returns to Hartselle on September 21, 2024

DECATUR-The annual Depot Days Festival is set to bring a full day of family-friendly fun and entertainment to historic downtown Hartselle on Saturday, September 21st, 2024. Hosted by the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce and presented by Decatur Morgan Hospital, this free event celebrates the rich railroad history that has shaped Hartselle and the North Alabama region.

This year’s festival will showcase an art show and craft vendors, offering visitors a chance to explore the creative talents of local artists and artisans. From unique, handmade treasures to thoughtful gifts and personal keepsakes, there’s something for everyone to discover.

In addition to the arts and crafts, festival-goers can enjoy the Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show, featuring a stunning collection of classic and modern vehicles. These meticulously maintained vehicles are proudly presented by Pepsi and local car enthusiasts and are sure to impress visitors of all ages.

New to this year’s lineup is the Depot Days Beauty Pageant on September 14th, where contestants will showcase their charm and grace in a variety of age categories. Fitness enthusiasts can participate in the Depot Days 5K also on September 14th, offering a scenic run through the Hartselle Civic Center grounds. Visitors and locals alike can join the community for a special Worship Night on Sunday, September 15th at 6:00 PM.

Throughout the day, enjoy live music from top-notch artists and bands, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the festival grounds. The Children’s Area Stage will feature performances and entertainment tailored specifically for young festival-goers, with captivating acts by the Hartselle Tiger Paws and local musicians that are sure to keep the crowd energized.

A wide variety of local food vendors will be on hand, offering delectable treats and flavors to satisfy every craving. Families can also look forward to an array of fun games and activities designed for children and parents to enjoy together.
