Denver E. White, age 88, of Huntsville passed peacefully into eternity on April 27, 2023 at Floyd E. “Tut” Fann State Veterans Home.
Mr. White was born March 15, 1935, in Coffeen, Illinois to Aaron and Ethel Elmore White. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda White.
He was a veteran of the Air Force and Army, where he learned the trade that carried him throughout his life and provided for his family. He was active in church and while he didn’t really have a singing voice, he loved to belt out those old hymns at the top of his voice like “When We All Get to Heaven” and “Victory in Jesus.”
He loved the times when we were able to gather family for a time of fellowship.
He is survived by his 3 daughters and son-in-laws: Jennie and John Outlaw, Denise and Dave White, Darlene and Dave Rhoads, a son and daughter-in-law; Tim and Karen White; a sister Shirley Wright; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring, AL.
