Denny Ray Smith, 68, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Diversicare in Tupelo. He was born January 26, 1955, to William E. and Mildred A. Shelton Smith. He enjoyed comic books, baseball and football cards, super heroes, and watching westerns and old TV shows.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Keith Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
He is survived by one brother, Larry Smith, Sr.; three sisters, Shirley Gallagher, Kay Jourdan, and Fay Brawley and her husband, Rick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers, James Lee, Kenneth Lee, Clovis Lee, William Smith, Ray Smith and Gerald Smith.
