Funeral for Denny Lane, 80, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 2:00pm at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Shelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm -2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lane was born October 19, 1943, in Maryland. She died Friday, December 29, 2023, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Alabama.
Denny finished her earthly race, she is whole, free and home. She was a reflection of Gods grace and faithfulness to many her whole life and she selflessly served her church, friends, and family.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Decatur Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Danna Harbin.
She is survived by, sons, Darrell Lane (Janet), and Tim Lane; daughters, Tammy Robbins (Kenny), and Melissia Johnson (Len); son-in-law, Danny Harbin; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
