Dennis was a caring resident of Colbert County, Alabama, and was loved by many members of the community, including good friend, Leon Smith. Dennis was a lifelong fisherman and an old car enthusiast. He loved fishing, either on shore or on his boat, and you would see him relaxed, and with a smile, in his element. He also loved going to car shows and even won a few with his Falcon. Dennis was a bright soul, achieving a scholarship from Wisconsin University for hockey. After graduating college, he went into the Army, where he served for twenty years and retired as a WO1. Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeff and Todd; and mother, Fanny Sylvester.
Dennis leaves behind his brother, Leonard Sylvester; sister, Bonnie; son Michael Christopherson; and daughter, Niecole Ray (DeMarko).
