Dennis Wayne Goff, born March 1, 1949, in Selmer, Tennessee, peacefully passed away at his home on November 5, 2023. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Mae Whitaker McDonald and his grandson, Cade Suggs.
He was a 1967 graduate of Selmer High School and a 1971 graduate of Memphis State University. On June 10, 1994, Dennis joined in matrimony with Regenia Goff, a union that would bring them love and companionship for an incredible 29 years.
Dennis was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Selmer, where he was a Yokefellow. He was a devoted Daddy and Poppy. He had a competitive spirit especially playing games and laughing with family and friends. He also loved cheering on the Memphis Tigers, spending time at the camper, and maintaining a love for all things Superman. He was also a fan of Memphis Wrestling, teaching multiple generations the proper way to strut.
He supported his community as an Insurance Agent for over 30 years and was also a member of the Lions Club.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Regenia; daughters: Miranda Wilson (Steve), Leigh Ann Lien (David); stepchildren: Todd Rickman, Mitzi Suggs (Jeff); grandchildren: Harrison Gilliam, Andrew & Abby Lien, Calvin Wilson, Alex Rickman (Brianna), and Meg Walker (Cort).
