Dennis Wayne “Chubby” Pendley, age 53, of Townley, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Patton Hill Baptist Church, he will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins and Johnny Martin will officiate.
Mr. Pendley was preceded in death by his Grandparents-Chester and Willie Mae Kimbrell, Marvin Hester “Gramps” and Georgia Virs “Granny” Pendley; Grandson-Colter Jaxon Young.
He is survived by his Mother-Nancy Pendley; Father-Bill Pendley; Daughter-Tosha Pendley Greene; Grandsons-Brylar, Tanner and Dalton Greene, Coleman Anderson; Daughter-Cassidy “Cass” Young (Tyler); Grandson-Creed; Son-Barry Pendley (Kristin); Grandchildren-Teagan, Kalynn, Malachi and Rhyder; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a Host of Friends.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Greene, James Martin, Jeremy “Red” Kimbrell, Scott Kimbrell, Phillip “Happy” Davis and Michael Kelley.
