We are saddened to announce the death of Dennis Ray Yelverton, 68, of Jackson, TN.
Dennis left his world on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded with loved ones in his final days, and passed peacefully and without pain.
Dennis is survived by his children, Kristina Richardson (Brian), Jeffrey Yelverton, Michael Yelverton, Tanya Williford, Marisa Arias (Elmer), Simon Morin, Tiffanie Alvarez, AJ Alvarez, and Amanda Cowden; former wives, Norma Fuller (Larry) and Ida Morin; grandchildren, Haven Davison (Austin), Carlyn Fuller, Gretchen Richardson, Collin Richardson, Natalye Morin, Cylis Arias, Aniya Cowden, Marina German, Alyssa Williford, and Austin Williford; great grandchildren, Hudson Williford, Oakland Williford, and Eleanor Sails; siblings, Charles Yelverton and Wanda Emerson (Bobby); as well as a large number of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Annie Yelverton, as well as by two sisters, Barbara Worlly and Becky Hardee, and his brother, Bobby Yelverton.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the South Chapel with burial following in Providence Cemetery in Madison County.
