Dennis Morris Putman – Obituary

Dennis Morris Putman age 81, of Rogersville passed a way at home after an extended illness Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was retired from Elgin Flee Market, crane operator at Reynolds Alloys Company, and also a retired bait shop owner. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Barkley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nobie Dean Putman; Sisters, Louise Burness of Florence and Joyce Putman Terry of Rogersville; Step-children, Nita Sides, Randy Davis, Mack Davis and Bryan Davis. Survivors include his sisters, Nell Holden of Rogersville, Verlie Lee Rideout (Bobbie), Peggy Putman, Bobbie Wright, Doris Putman Hayes, Nancy Janie Putman, Annette Putman, all of Florence, Freeda Putman Michael (Coy) of Rogersville, and Cassie Cleveland (Paul) of Bonnertown Tennessee; Brothers, Jessie Jr. Putman (Mary) of Rogersville, and Gene Putman (Sherry) of Florence, Step-children, Vincent Davis and Monette, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, and friends.
