Dennis Mark Drake, 77, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at First Baptist Church Colbert Heights with a service to follow at 3 p.m. Bro. Seth Hood will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He loved to ride motorcycles and enjoyed restoring old cars. Dennis was good at carving different things with wood, and also enjoyed camping and traveling in the motorhome.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Doris Drake.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Drake; sons, Joshua Mark Drake (Jennifer) and Lucas Todd Drake (Jessica); sister, Linda Gatlin; grandchildren, Brandon Todd Drake, Hunter Mark Drake, Laina Grace Drake, and Tate Michael Drake; great grandchild, Colton Mark Drake; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Drake, Hunter Drake, Tate Drake, Matt Gatlin, Tanner Gatlin, Justin Duke, and Tim Lang. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Saint’s men Sunday School Class.
