Funeral for Dennis Joseph Johnson, 82, of Eva will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Cullman Heritage Chapel. Interment in Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Morgan County. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Hospice of Marshall County in Albertville. He was born March 12, 1934 in Cullman County to Claude Clarence and Emma Katherine Rogers Johnson. He was retired from Wolverine Tube, Inc. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ina Jo Beck; brother, J.R. Johnson; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Rooks Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Moore Johnson; one son, Dan Johnson; two daughters, Melissa (Evan) Sealey and Ginger (Bill) Broslat; four grandchildren, Tracy, Angie, Adam and Brooke; four great-grandchildren, Shayna, Bekah, Mason and Lawson; two sisters, Shirley Frost and Beverly (Mike) Durand; one brother, Hal Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends and eight beagles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marshall County, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
