Funeral service for Dennis Eugene Morgan, 79, of Decatur will be Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Morgan died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 9, 1933, in Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary L. Morgan; one son, Jeff McCoy of Decatur; one daughter, Denise Morgan Williams (Kelly) of Harvest; two brothers, Rod Morgan (Linda) of Oak Ridge and George Morgan (Bessie) of Moulton; one sister, Lorree Morgan of Michigan; and one grandchild, D.J. Osborne of Harvest.
