Delya Dalton West “Mama Red”, age 92, passed away at her home in Goodspring, TN on Saturday, March 7 2020. She was born on August 28, 1927 in Limestone County, AL and was an amazing wife and mother.
Delya is survived by her beloved husband of 45 happy years, R.B. West of Goodspring, TN, her 2 sons, Jimmy Dale Brown and wife Judy of Athens, AL, and Ted Allen Brown and wife Ruby of Jackson, AL, her 2 daughters, Priscilla J. Bell of Madison, AL, and Sandra Toon and husband James of Goodspring, TN, her Brother, J.D. Ferrell of Athens, AL., and several of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with the Burial following in Maplewood Cemetery. Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
