Deloris Faye Gooch, 78, of Hartselle died Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Decatur-Morgan Hospital.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 12-2 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lexington, Alabama. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Bro. Isaac Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Gooch was preceded in death by a son, Richard Gooch; parents, Ones and Pearlie Chandler; siblings, Lillian McAnally, O.W. Chandler, Walter Chandler, and Billy Chandler.
She is survived by her three sons, Wendell Gooch, Kendall Gooch, Monty Gooch, Jr (Summor); four grandchildren, Indie Gooch, Brett Gooch, Austin Gooch, and Bridgette Johnson; several great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Bolen; brother, Morris Chandler (Rose); several nieces and nephews.
