Delores Sue Kilbourn, age 58, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at NHC Columbia.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on May 1, 1962 in Battle Creek, Michigan, Delores was the daughter of Ruth Mildred Full Kilbourn and the late Daniel George Kilbourn, Sr. She most recently worked as a sales associate for Dillard’s Inc. in Cool Springs, and previously worked fifteen years in dietary for NHC Hillview. She was a hard worker who did as well as she could at her jobs to care for herself and her family. Delores loved everybody, and everybody loved her. She had a special love for her beloved cats. Delores loved sunflowers, and above all, she loved her family, was a proud grandmother and had a firm faith in God.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Danielle Dyer of Columbia; brothers: Daniel George (Marcia) Kilbourn, Jr. of Michigan, David Charles (Vicky) Kilbourn of Michigan, Donald Ray (Sue) Kilbourn of Michigan; grandchildren: Kam, Kora, and Krew Stewart; special cousin who was like a sister, Reva Jo and her children, Tawney Jo and Cody Jo.
