Funeral services for Mrs. Delores Roberts, age 92 of Cumming, GA, will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Olive Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Richie Farrow officiating. The burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved south in 2005. As a child of the Great Depression she understood the value of life and family. She was honest, hard-working, focused and dedicated. She accepted Jesus in 1974 and truly showed the love and acceptance that can only come through that transformation. Mom was kind and loved to laugh and adored her children and especially her grands.
She was survived by her children, Francine Keller, David Simko, Michelle Simko and Rick Roberts; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Flo Hart; also several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred L. Roberts, a son Claude Cripple and several brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held Tuesday before the service from 11:00 until 12:00 at Olive Branch.
