Delores “Minnie” LeDonia Smith Lovell, age 92, went home to be with The Lord Sunday August, 20, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Humera, Louisiana on December 30, 1930, to Seth and Maude Smith.
Mrs. Lovell appreciated that God provided her with her husband, Jack, and her loving family. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Athens.
Visitation will be at McConnell Funeral Home on Monday August 21st from 2pm until 9pm, and Tuesday August 22nd from 9am until 9pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday August 23rd in the chapel at 11am, with Mark Bryer officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Tom Lovell (Debbie); daughters: Jackie Bryer (Robert), Tina Lovell (Donald) and Lindy Stanley (John); and 72 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Jack Clifford Lovell; her parents; sisters, Charity O’Hara and Margie Johnson; grandson, Donnie Lovell; and grandson-in-law, Joe Stevens.
