God has a beautiful new angel in Heaven today. Delores Lea Owen, everyone knows her by Dee, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022. She had battled and suffered with an illness for years.
Dee was a loving wife and a loving mother to our son Kyle. She will be extremely missed but never forgotten because she will live on in out hearts. Dee was the most Unselfish, Loving and Caring person, with the biggest heart that you would ever want to meet and be friends with. Dee, also was one of the “toughest” people you could know. She had several health issues which she took one day at a time and plowed through them. She never complained and she always had a positive attitude. She made me a better person for allowing me to share her life and knowing her. I lost my best friend and best partner but God gained a beautiful new angel.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, George Owen, her son Kyle Owen, her mother Joy Johnson, her sisters Cindy Ferguson and Anita Rosendall. She also leaves behind her brother-in-laws, a sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering for Dee will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Sharon Johnston Park, Pavilion # 7 / Thru Gate 3, 783 Coleman Road, New Market, AL 35811.
