Della Pickering, 76, of Burnsville, MS, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was retired from I.T.T. after 33 years of employment. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Wayne Crum and Bro. Mark Jones. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eugene Gray, Joey Gray, Steven Gray, Heath Calvery, Roy Wright, Charles Weathers, and Lyonel Lambert. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by one son, J. R. Blakney (Sheryl) of Iuka; three sisters, Fay Calvery of Corinth, Virginia Weathers of Corinth, and Liz Wright of Burnsville; two grandchildren, Chris Blakney (Kacie) of Glen, and LeeAnne Blakney Price (Bryan) of Corinth; and six great-grandchildren, Emily Blakney, Lainey Grace Blakney, Korbin Blakney, Parker Price, BryLee Price, and Edy Price; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenneth Blakney and Hal Pickering; her parents, Ralph and Cordie Hudson Gray; six brothers, James, Mack, William, Doug, Robert, and Jerry Gray; and one sister, Bea Weathers.
